ArTeA Restaurant & Bar is a unique new concept in McLean, blending the art of tea with creative mixology. We’re serving handcrafted tea cocktails, premium loose-leaf teas, and small plates in a vibrant, modern space; Our aim is to build a passionate team that values quality, creativity, and genuine hospitality.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to craft our signature tea cocktails and help create a memorable bar experience for every guest. If you’re skilled in mixology, excited to experiment with tea-based drinks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve tea cocktails, classic drinks, and other beverages with consistency and care
- Engage with guests and provide an exceptional bar experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Restock and prep bar ingredients and garnishes
- Collaborate with FOH and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Learn and contribute to our evolving tea cocktail menu
Requirements:
- At least 21 years old
- Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume setting
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and bar operations
- Interest in tea and creative mixology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be available Thursday–Sunday (see hours below)
Hours of Operation:
- Thurs: 5 PM – 9 PM
- Fri: 11 AM – 9 PM
- Sat: 9 AM – 9 PM
- Sun: 9 AM – 4 PM
Training & Compensation:
- 2-week paid training at a reduced rate that ramps up weekly.
- Early promotion to regular pay based on performance
- Bonus eligibility after 1-month probationary period unless otherwise approved by the manager.
