Weekend Wine is a boutique fine wine retailer based in DC, focused on rare, collectible bottles sourced from top estates around the world. We serve collectors across the U.S. and pride ourselves on precision, provenance, and great service.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a highly reliable, detail-driven professional to help pack and ship high-value fine wine orders from our temperature-controlled cellar near Ivy City. The role also includes occasional bottle photography for our listings (we’ll train you).

This is a part-time, flexible position - expect 1 to 2 shifts per week, ranging from 4–8 hours each shift. All shifts must fall within warehouse hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

What You’ll Do:

Carefully pack and label wine orders for FedEx or UPS pickup
Print and apply shipping labels using our shipping platform
Inspect and clean bottles before shipping — remove stickers, wipe down fingerprints, and make sure both bottles and wood cases look pristine
Log outgoing shipments and assist with cellar organization
Occasionally take clean, clear bottle photos with your smartphone
Handle all items with precision and discretion

Who You Are:

Extremely reliable and trustworthy—you take pride in doing things the right way
Detail-oriented, organized, and focused—especially when it comes to fragile, high-value goods
Experienced in packing and shipping (ideally with glass, wine, or collectibles)
Comfortable lifting up to ~40 lbs and working independently
Based in Washington, DC with weekday availability during warehouse hours
Tech-comfortable: printing labels, scanning QR codes, taking clear photos

Bonus Points For:

Wine knowledge or an interest in learning more
Experience with Shopify, UPS/FedEx shipping software, or warehouse tools
Prior roles in fulfillment, shipping, logistics, or luxury goods handling
