Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team at DTL Sports Center. Within the facility there is a full-bar area, where guest and participants can enjoy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
Conduct opening and closing activities to open and/or close for the day.
Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with catering events as needed, providing excellent service in various settings.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable.
Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service for all guests.

Requirements

Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
Familiarity with an Go Tab POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
Knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods is advantageous.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks during peak hours.
A valid food handling certification may be required based on local regulations.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
