Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining the bar area to the highest standards. Your role will be pivotal in creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with banquet services and catering events as needed.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable.
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, menu offerings, and food handling safety practices.
Skills
- Proficient in food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Experience in banquet service and catering is preferred.
- Strong background in food service within the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Exceptional time management abilities to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
