We are a busy acupuncture and integrative medicine clinic in Bethesda, Maryland, seeking a dependable, energetic Medical Office Assistant. This is a physically active, fast-paced position where you will help maintain the smooth flow of the clinic and support exceptional patient care.
You’ll spend approximately 80% of your shift on your feet, working hands-on to clean treatment rooms, manage supplies, and assist with front desk and patient coordination tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare, clean, and sanitize patient treatment rooms
- Stock supplies and maintain inventory
- Greet patients and assist with check-in and symptom screening
- Collect payments and verify insurance
- Support scheduling and electronic medical records
- Assist provider with workflow and basic clinical tasks
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and professionalism of the medical office
Required Qualifications:
- Available for a minimum of 20 hours/week
- Able to commit for at least 12 consecutive months
- Comfortable with physical work: lifting 30+ lbs, crouching, reaching, moving in tight spaces
- Comfortable wearing a KN95 mask for the duration of each shift
- Reliable transportation to our Bethesda office (car strongly recommended)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in typing, email, and basic office software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
- 1+ year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Willing to undergo background check, drug screen, and/or COVID testing as requested
