Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Must have at least 1 year in experience working at Japanese Restaurant
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Assist with training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures.
Skills
- Proficient in Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Strong culinary knowledge with experience in food handling, preparation, and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Proven sales abilities with experience in upselling menu items.
- Previous fine dining or restaurant experience preferred; nightclub experience is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
