We are a busy acupuncture and integrative medicine clinic in Bethesda, Maryland, seeking a dependable, energetic Medical Office Assistant. This is a physically active, fast-paced position where you will help maintain the smooth flow of the clinic and support exceptional patient care.

You’ll spend approximately 80% of your shift on your feet, working hands-on to clean treatment rooms, manage supplies, and assist with front desk and patient coordination tasks.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, clean, and sanitize patient treatment rooms
Stock supplies and maintain inventory
Greet patients and assist with check-in and symptom screening
Collect payments and verify insurance
Support scheduling and electronic medical records
Assist provider with workflow and basic clinical tasks
Maintain the overall cleanliness and professionalism of the medical office

Required Qualifications:

Available for a minimum of 20 hours/week
Able to commit for at least 12 consecutive months
Comfortable with physical work: lifting 30+ lbs, crouching, reaching, moving in tight spaces
Comfortable wearing a KN95 mask for the duration of each shift
Reliable transportation to our Bethesda office (car strongly recommended)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in typing, email, and basic office software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
1+ year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or customer service preferred
Willing to undergo background check, drug screen, and/or COVID testing as requested

Schedules available Monday–Thursday between 9:30am and 8:30pm, Friday and Saturday between 9:30am and 6:30pm
