Job Title: Bartender

Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our events team at Eleven8 Event Staff. The ideal candidate has a passion for delivering exceptional service, a strong knowledge of drinks, and a friendly demeanor that helps create a welcoming atmosphere. Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes
- Engage with guests, take orders accurately, and make recommendations when appropriate
- Operate POS systems efficiently and handle payments and transactions with confidence
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- Monitor inventory and restock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Collaborate with service and kitchen teams to provide smooth, timely service
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and responsible alcohol service practices
- Set up the bar area before events and break it down afterwards, including lifting and moving equipment and cases (up to 44 lbs)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bartending, hospitality, or a related role
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong time management skills; ability to handle busy periods gracefully
- Basic math skills for calculating orders and making change accurately
- Ability to promote specials and upsell in a natural, non-pushy way
- Positive, friendly, and adaptable attitude, with a passion for delivering great service
- Ability to lift and carry up to 44 lbs and perform physical tasks related to set-up and breakdown
