OF VACANCIES: One (1) or moreAGENCY: Education Cluster (EC), District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) DURATION OF APPOINTMENT: PermanentCOLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT: This position is not in a collective bargaining unit BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Education Cluster (EC), District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). The incumbent provides administrative and customer support as required for the timely, effective, and accurate accomplishment of daily work assignments. Duties include, but are not limited to: responding to administrative inquiries by phone, email and in-person; receiving, routing and/or distributing incoming/outgoing mail; tracking all administrative transactions; maintaining the office filing system; collecting information and entering data into electronic information systems; proofreading and editing documents, correspondence and any other outgoing messages or information; scheduling meetings; taking notes during meetings and following up with appropriate staff members regarding actions items; and providing project support. Performs other related duties as assigned.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Six (6) months to one (1) year of general experience performing duties and responsibilities related to providing administrative support.
