Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling our products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Basic knowledge of tennis and/or pickleball is required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the right products to meet their needs.
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge and information to customers, including features and benefits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor to enhance the shopping experience.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets through proactive engagement and effective sales techniques.
- Upsell additional products or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and meet their needs.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences, address inquiries, and resolve concerns.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of tennis and/or pickleball equipment is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively is required.This includes an ability to effectively communicate with customers from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of product knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn about new products.
