1. POSITION IDENTIFICATION
Title : Warehouse/ Driver
2. OVERVIEW
As a vital member of the Warehouse team, the Warehouse Driver will report directly to the Warehouse Manager. This role is integral to the receival, delivery and storage of all products going in and out of the building. The Warehouse Driver’s primary responsibility at QWD is to collaborate closely with the other Warehouse Techs, the Warehouse Manager and the Supply Operations Manager to safely and securely receive, store, track and deliver all windows, doors, parts, installation materials, etc.. This position is essential in ensuring that all deliveries are accurately counted and verifying all deliveries going out are accurate, backed up with photos and also verifying all necessary payments/signatures are accounted for. The Warehouse Driver must be DOT Certified and will also be required to deliver product to jobsites as well as picking up installation materials and taking the fleet vehicles in for preventative maintenance checks.
3. RESPONSIBILITIES
· Checking off each individual line on our office’s delivery paperwork as they’re coming off of the truck and signing for their paperwork only after this has been done and verified. Photos of the packages on the jobsite are also required to ensure accuracy.
· Verifying the integrity of the shipments is also essential. This includes how they’re stored so as to not get damaged or damage other products as well as the building in the process.
· Look over the products being delivered thoroughly for any possible damage or issues such as cracked glass, dents, scrapes, rips in the cardboard, one window on an order being a completely different color than the rest, etc. The Warehouse Driver is the last chance to catch any such issues before we deliver it. The Warehouse Driver will work together with the Warehouse Manager and Supply Operations Manager if such an issue is discovered.
· All jobs delivered must have photos captured in CompanyCam at the jobsite. This includes photos of the signed paperwork, any hardware boxes, parts boxes, screens etc.
· Maintain a daily maintenance check on each vehicle before leaving the building. This includes checking fluid levels, tires, lights etc. If an issue is discovered, it must be brought to the Warehouse Manager’s attention. 5 shifts worked, should equal 5 fully filled out maintenance check sheets. This will be captured digitally on a weekly basis through CompanyCam.
· The Warehouse Driver must load tomorrow’s truck, today. The goal is for the driver to hit the road first thing in the morning so this must be done every day before leaving.
· Delivering products in a safe and professional manner. Confirming you have the right help to get it done, the right tools for the job and a jobsite that is safe and ready for receipt.
· The Warehouse Driver must maintain a clean and orderly truck. The truck cab and box should be emptied at the end of every day. This includes trash, paperwork etc in the cab and product, debris, packaging etc. in the box. Also, all straps or other supplies used throughout the course of that day’s deliveries must be put away at the end of every shift.
· Assisting the Warehouse Tech and Warehouse manager with any organization or cleaning that is needed to maintain a clean and orderly warehouse. This may include cleaning of the showroom, warehouse floors, sweeping up nails and dust etc. These are all responsibilities of the warehouse team as a whole. While checklists and tasks will be provided by the Warehouse Manager for these tasks, it should also be expected that if a Warehouse Driver notices something that should be cleaned and they have the time to do so, they should take that on as often as possible.
· Issues such as one window from one job being on the other side of the building with another job or catching a potential tripping hazard before it becomes harmful is crucial to keeping a safe and well-organized warehouse.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
· Attention to detail for all of the products in the building, including making sure we are not leaving any trip hazards or other potential injuries.
· Strong work ethic to keep moving and finding things in the warehouse that could be more efficiently stored, better organized and
· The warehouse tech is required to regularly lift large and heavy objects safely with the forklift, warehouse carts, safety straps etc. Knowing your limits and asking for help when necessary is also essential to maintain a safe work environment.
· 2+ years in warehouse, packaging, delivery or other similar job types preferred.
· DOT Certification is required.
4. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
The Warehouse Driver must comply with all safety rules and company policies related to safety.

Pay: $33,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
