Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and attentive Bartender/Server to join our team at a high-end banquet facility. As a key member of our hospitality staff, the Bartender will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and managing cash and credit transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fine dining environment and possess a passion for mixology. Duties:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of drinks, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing recommendations
- Provide expert recommendations to customers based on their preferences and dietary restrictions
- Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and credit payments, as well as count and balance the cash register
- Clean and maintain the bar area, including the bar itself, glasses, and equipment
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Work effectively in a team environment to ensure seamless service
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Adhere to all food handling and safety standards
Experience:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a fine dining or nightclub setting
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
- Experience with food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively
- Proven sales and customer service skills
- Experience with cash handling and management
- Familiarity with the hospitality industry and its standards
