**Job Title:** Kitchen Helper - Turkish Fast Food Restaurant

**Location:** Dupont Circle

**Job Type:** Full-Time

**Job Description:**

We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and contributing to the efficient operation of our kitchen.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Must have the ability to cut meat and cut chicken

- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and making sauces.

- Support the cooking staff with various tasks as needed, including managing the grill and preparing döner kebabs.

- Ensure the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and maintained to meet hygiene standards.

- Assist in receiving and organizing supplies and food items.

- Help maintain inventory and ensure that food supplies are stored properly.

- Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations.

- Assist in plate assembly and ensuring presentation standards are met.

- Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef.

**Qualifications:**

- Prior experience in a kitchen or similar environment is preferred but not essential.

- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when required.

- A passion for Turkish cuisine and a willingness to learn.

- Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and evenings.
