JOB SUMMAY
The objective of the Client Support Specialist is to provide quality customer service for commercial accounts to increase sales and profits for BUSA. Responsibilities include coordinating communications between customer and field representative, processing direct accounts, stimulating sales, and providing quantitative support for management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Processes direct accounts within territory
- Receives and verifies incoming orders for pricing, discounts and terms
- Processes documents to record required sales information
- Operates computer terminal to input orders and review orders for errors or omissions
- Arranges the allocation of product according to fixed shipment schedules
- Answers customers’ questions concerning products by telephone or email
- Troubleshoots with various departments such as warehouse, shipping, accounting and production to meet daily goals and customers’ needs
- Provide sales information and sales history by obtaining data from several sources
- Provides quantitative sales support for management
- Provides sales information and history
- Updates and analyzes sales reports
- Interfaces with production in the analysis and administration of purchase order reports
- Administrates return merchandise authorization system with the cooperation of receiving and warehouse
- Maintains and organizes distributor agreements
- May promote products at trade shows and conferences by attending as a representative for BUSA
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES
- Knowledge of basic math concepts required
- Excellent communication skills; both oral and written
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills required
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft 365 products such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint required; experience using Salesforce and JDEdwards strongly preferred.
- Experience in a customer service/sales environment required; 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or industry specific experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications or another related field preferred
