We are seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer.
As an Assistant Facility Security Officer, you will support all facets of Soliel LLC’s Security Program, including personnel security, DD254 review and preparation, visitor access and control, physical security, and support security investigations. You will have the opportunity to expand your security knowledge across a wide range of security disciplines and participate in internal security working groups. This position is for a junior to mid-level security professional.
Position Requirements and Duties
The AFSO reports directly to the FSO and assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), National Industrial Security System (NISS), Synchronized Pre-deployment Operational Tracker (SPOT), and Electronic Application (eAPP) is a plus.
- Provides and tracks security briefings, debriefings, and training for employees.
- Assists in preparation for facility reviews and inspections, including Self-Inspections.
- Maintain company personnel security clearance records.
- Processes and tracks employee security clearances, investigations, and form completion, including visit requests and requests for system access.
- Assists in the management of the physical security of operating facilities, equipment, and documentation.
- Support other company security disciplines as needed in connection with classified/secure projects.
- Other duties as assigned by the FSO.
Qualifications
- US Citizen.
- Secret Clearance Required
- Must complete, or have completed, the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Curriculum within six months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule.
- Strong computer skills
- Must complete the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Curriculum within six months of employment.
- Must be able to interpret and implement security policy, and provide guidance, oversight, and assistance to company personnel.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.

Pay: $85,293.01 - $110,933.52 per year
