Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our Uncorked team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine, beer and mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist with retail purchases when necessary.
- Operate POS systems, including TOAST POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and health regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking usage.
- Demonstrate knowledge of beer, wine and cocktail preparation to enhance guest experiences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of beer and wine is required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for managing inventory effectively.
- Must be over 21 years of age.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 18 per week
