DESCRIPTION:
Shift leads work directly with managers to ensure daily tasks are completed and team members are prepared. Acting as managers when absent, shift leads have complete knowledge of the menu and assist team members throughout shifts. They help managers with small tasks like urgent ordering, inventory assistance, and maintaining quality and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a leader for team members
- Accurately complete prep lists
- Ensure each station has everything it needs to operate during business hours
- Step in to help solve customer issues
- Communicate with manager on inventory, such as if it’s getting low, expiration dates
- approaching, etc.
- Make sure team members are correctly making toasts, smoothies, bowls, etc.
- Take initiative to assist with training and teaching new employees
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ months working full-time at Toastique
- Completion of all training programs
- Food Safety Manager Certification
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
