Prospect Solar, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Helper / Inventory & Logistics Assistant to support our growing solar installation operations. This position is responsible for managing inventory, processing material orders, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring efficient material flow to field crews and project sites.

Key Responsibilities

· Track and manage incoming and outgoing solar materials, tools, and equipment.

· Maintain accurate records using spreadsheets and digital inventory management software.

· Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.

· Issue and track purchase orders for materials and equipment.

· Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

· Assist project managers in sourcing specialty items and materials.

· Receive, inspect, and organize deliveries.

· Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.

· Prepare job kits and load materials for field crews.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

· Support scheduling and staging of material deliveries to job sites.

· Manage returns, warranties, and material transfers between projects.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.

· Minimum 1–2 years of warehouse, logistics, or materials handling experience (solar, electrical, or construction industry preferred).

· Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and/or digital inventory management tools.

· Strong organizational and communication skills.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a warehouse environment.

· Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) required.

· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Preferred Skills

· Familiarity with solar energy components (modules, inverters, racking, wiring).

· Experience issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries.

· Comfort working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
