NOW HIRING: EXPERIENCED SEASONAL EVENT STAFF (Off-premises Catering)

We are seeking experienced seasonal staff to join our dynamic team! If you have a background in hospitality, catering, or event services, we encourage you to apply and showcase your skills. This role is for off-premises catering for our events.

Applicants will be expected to have the required event attire: a white long-sleeve button-down shirt, black pants/slacks, and black dress shoes.
This is a seasonal role, designed to assist Windows Catering during times of peak business and increased volume. It's important to note that available work will be based solely on these business demands and will be limited at times.
Must have at least 2 years experience in banquets/event catering.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Preparation and Setup (applies to all positions):

Collaborate with the Booking Manager regarding event assignments and updates.
Arrive on time and in appropriate attire with tools (wine opener, ice scoop, matches).
Assist the Event Captain with setup, including tables, buffet stations, service areas, and bars.

Waitstaff Duties:

Set up the room, pass hors d'oeuvres, attend buffets, or serve plated meals.

Bartender Duties:

Set up and serve beer, wine, or premium bars with knowledge of basic drink preparation and outstanding customer service.

Culinary Support:

Prepare and present hors d’oeuvres, buffet items, pastries, or plated meals under the guidance of top chefs in the industry.

Qualifications:

At least two years of experience in hospitality, catering, food and beverage, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or items (up to 25 pounds) for extended periods.
Punctuality, reliability, and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
Attention to detail and a commitment to high service standards.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
