Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility and possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule maintenance, and document repairs.
- Analyze schematics and blueprints to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters and ammeters to assess electrical systems.
- Fabricate parts as needed to maintain machinery functionality.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in industrial maintenance practices with a strong understanding of manufacturing facility operations.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints effectively.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in machinery operation.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Competent in using tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members.
