The Roll Off Truck Driver is responsible for operating roll-off vehicles and supporting equipment in accordance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations. Their primary duties include complying with safety protocols, driving various solid waste vehicles, primarily roll off, and operating support vehicles. They collect and dispose of waste from customer locations to the disposal facility, upload scale tickets and observe safety and DOT regulations. They maintain clean, odor-free, and sanitary property, conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and perform quality control inspections. They maintain records of work performed and equipment usage, communicate with managers and dispatchers, and report accidents and incidents to manager.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include proficiency in English, good interpersonal skills, ability to coordinate multiple limbs, and prior experience with roll off trucks. They must also be results-oriented, self-motivated, and follow directions. Attendance is essential.
Minimum requirements include a Class A or Class B CDL state driver's license, DOT health certificate, drug screen, clear MVR and Clearinghouse records, three plus years of experience, ability to obtain security background clearance, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
