Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and experience in various food service settings. This role involves preparing and serving food, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering outstanding hospitality to our guests. Prior experience in fine dining, catering, or banquet service is highly valued. The Food Service Worker will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment for all patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards, including menu items and special dietary requests
- Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure an appealing appearance
- Serve customers in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their needs promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices and sanitation procedures
- Support catering and banquet setups, including arranging tables, serving staff, and clearing dishes after events
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless dining experiences and uphold quality standards
Experience
- Prior experience in food service roles such as restaurant work, catering, or banquet service is preferred
- Fine dining experience or background in hospitality enhances suitability for this position
- Customer service skills are essential for engaging positively with guests
- Experience with food handling, food preparation, and maintaining food safety standards is highly desirable
- Barista experience or dietary aide background can be beneficial but is not required
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and excellent serving skills will contribute to success in this role
