Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with members, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Manage inventory by tracking stock levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary, especially during catering events.
- Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create memorable experiences for guests.
- Experience in bartending or related fields such as hospitality or restaurant service is preferred.
- Knowledge of retail math for managing cash transactions effectively.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices in a bar setting.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly in nightlife or nightclub settings.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
