Job Title: Service Desk – Tier 1

Location: Arlington, VA (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term

Position Summary:

The Tier 1 Service Desk Analyst serves as the first point of contact for technical support requests from Client’s staff and contractors. This role is responsible for providing high-quality customer service and resolving basic technical issues related to hardware, software, mobile devices, and network access.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-level support via phone, email, and in-person interactions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices (iOS/Android), printers, and common office applications.

Perform hardware/software installations, configurations, and upgrades.

Assist with password resets, account unlocks, and basic Active Directory updates.

Document incidents and resolutions in the ServiceNow ticketing system.

Support audio-visual setups and basic troubleshooting.

Maintain loaner equipment inventory and assist with deployments.

Participate in new staff orientation and provide basic application training.

Required Skills:

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Initiative and ownership of Tier 1 service offerings.

Experience using IT Service Desk ticketing systems.

Basic LAN user administration and troubleshooting in TCP/IP and Active Directory environments.

Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Mac OS, Office 365, Exchange, Outlook.

Qualifications:

2-3 years preferred, 1+ years required experience in IT support or related field.

MS, CompTIA A+®, Network+®, or HDI certification preferred.

High school diploma required.
