Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving.
Operate manual transmission vehicles as required by specific routes or loads.
Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading materials.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles proficiently.
Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate records.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading/unloading processes.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends if necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
