ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide coordination and support to victims and witnesses involved in criminal cases throughout court proceedings and the broader legal process.
- Utilize case management software to document case information, track service delivery, and maintain accurate statistics and files.
- Prepare, distribute, and explain resources, forms, and informational materials to victims and witnesses in both English and Spanish as appropriate.
- Assist with program operations by performing a variety of administrative and support tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, and coordinating meetings or court dates.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in compliance with legal and privacy requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between victims, witnesses, prosecutors, and other criminal justice partners.
- Build rapport and trust with victims and witnesses, displaying empathy and sensitivity during all interactions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High level of fluency in both spoken and written Spanish and English.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience performing administrative support or case management tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to work independently; must be self-motivated.
- Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Experience with case management software preferred.
- Prior experience in a legal, social services, or client-facing administrative role preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, however evening and weekend hours will be required.
- Travel may be required.
