Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest experiences through efficient food service, accurate order handling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food industry settings, including fine dining or nightclub environments. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus, along with strong time management and upselling abilities. Responsibilities

Take and process customer orders accurately using POS systems like Micros POS
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation as needed
Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
Manage guest relations by providing friendly, attentive service and addressing any special requests or concerns
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties using POS systems such as OpenTable or other platforms
Support bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and assisting hosts/hostesses when necessary
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
Experience in food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols within the food industry
Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
Knowledge of food preparation, serving etiquette, and guest relations is advantageous
