As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with the public, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activities or persons to the appropriate authorities.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or the public with directions and general information as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changing conditions and assignments as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
