Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and quality food production.
- Oversee kitchen management, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high culinary standards.
- Support budgeting efforts by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-control measures.
- Train, develop, and mentor staff to enhance their skills and improve overall team performance.
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
- Coordinate banquet services and special events to provide an exceptional dining experience for guests.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and communication among staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food management practices, including food safety standards and kitchen operations.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management in a restaurant setting.
- Ability to effectively manage shifts, ensuring smooth operations during busy periods.
- Excellent training development skills to enhance employee performance and engagement.
- A background in casual dining or banquet services is highly desirable.
