We are seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Bartender to join our opening team at Elegancia.
This is a hands-on service role for someone who thrives on the floor, creating beautiful drinks, connecting with guests, and contributing to an elevated bar experience. The ideal candidate is confident behind the bar, detail-oriented in execution, and genuinely passionate about hospitality, teamwork, and craft.

As a bartender, you will help bring the identity of the bar to life from opening day forward, supporting service flow, maintaining standards, collaborating closely with leadership, and ensuring every guest feels truly welcomed and seen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute cocktails, beer, wine, coffee cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency, accuracy, and attention to presentation.
- Deliver warm, engaging, and knowledgeable guest service—guiding guests through the menu, making recommendations, and creating memorable bar experiences.
- Maintain full ownership of the bar station, including setup, restocking, cleanliness, and breakdown, while upholding all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Accurately enter orders and process payments using Toast POS, ensuring efficient service flow and smooth guest transactions.
- Collaborate closely with bar leadership and teammates to support service, uphold standards, and contribute to a strong opening culture.
- Work with a sense of urgency and composure during high-volume periods while maintaining quality, hospitality, and professionalism.
- Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines and company policies.
- Support events, features, and special activations as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in an elevated cocktail bar, fine-dining restaurant, or high-volume hospitality environment.
Certifications & Requirements
- TIPS and/or ABRA alcohol certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- ServSafe certification preferred, not required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Deeply hospitality-driven: you lead with warmth, awareness, and care, creating experiences that make guests feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and remembered.
- Strong foundation in classic cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and modern cocktail techniques, with a refined eye for balance, consistency, and presentation.
- Confident and polished behind the bar, with the ability to engage guests, read the room, and contribute to the overall energy and flow of service.
- Detail-oriented and composed under pressure, able to balance speed, cleanliness, and quality during high-volume periods.
- Collaborative and reliable team player who takes pride in their craft, their station, and the guest experience.
- Comfortable using Toast POS for order entry, payments, and guest checks.
- Strong organizational skills, sanitation awareness, and basic math proficiency for cash handling and tip reporting.
