JOB
Under supervision from the Supervisor, Building Services, performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the maintenance and repair of assigned buildings, mechanical equipment, and related facilities. This position may also receive technical and functional supervision from the Building Services Technician III.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Strong knowledge of HVAC, generators, electric, plumbing, fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, UPS systemsLead and participate in preventive and corrective maintenance, installations, and repairs for buildings, equipment, and facilities.Develop work schedules, methods, and cost estimates; ensure timely completion of projects.Assess materials and labor needs; purchase supplies; maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and costs.Trains and mentors lower-level maintenance staff, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.Coordinates with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services as needed.Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies and equipment.Conducts regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Snow removal
