Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other utensils
- Assist with menu planning and suggest new pizza varieties or toppings to enhance customer offerings
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and cooking techniques
- Experience with menu planning, catering, or fine dining is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
