Position Summary
Casamara Rooftop is seeking a Lead Bartender who brings charisma, precision, and leadership to our high-volume yet refined rooftop experience. This role is ideal for a creative professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in crafting cocktails that define the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the rooftop bar team to deliver warm, anticipatory service and impeccable drinks.
- Oversee bar operations, including daily setup, breakdown, inventory, and cash handling.
- Collaborate with the Beverage Director and culinary team to execute seasonal cocktail programs.
- Maintain beverage quality, consistency, and speed of service during peak hours.
- Uphold all cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards.
- Support beverage cost control through accurate pours, efficient prep, and proper storage.
- Train and mentor bartenders and barbacks on mixology, sequence of service, and guest engagement.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Casamara—energetic, refined, and always guest-focused.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale environment; at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
- Deep knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and current mixology trends.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a guest-first mentality.
- Ability to stay composed and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- TIPS or equivalent alcohol certification required.
- A natural sense of style, hospitality, and attention to detail.
