Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities through hands-on technical work and troubleshooting. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment, systems, and infrastructure operate smoothly, supporting a productive environment for staff and visitors alike. Duties ·
Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on building systems including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical.
· Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to minimize down time.
· Troubleshoot equipment issues, diagnose and resolve buildiing maintenance problems or refer to supervisor as needed.
· Conduct equipment inspections and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment based on manufacturer recommendations
· Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repair logs and maintenance schedules
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies during maintenance operations
· Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
· Other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications
a) High school diploma or GED;
b) One to three years of work experience in a facility support position;
c) Good knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods for HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. Licensure and/or certifications are a plus.
d) A valid drivers license is required.
e) Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
f) Ability to work occasional overtime and evening or weekend hours.
