ABBTECH is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Junior Technical Recruiter to join our talent team, eager to gain experience in recruiting various levels of IT technical skill sets.
As a Jr. Technical Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging top-tier talent for our organization. Your primary focus will be on attracting qualified candidates through various channels, maintaining candidate relationship throughout the hiring process by providing excellent candidate experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teams up with the Recruiting Team and hiring managers to strategize for tough-to-fill roles, and aid during surges.
- Maintains oversight of open requisitions and candidate statuses using internal databases and ABBTECH’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and delivers regular updates to the leadership team.
- Produce reports and metrics to monitor the efficiency of sourcing efforts, offering valuable insights for ongoing enhancements.
- Utilize multiple sourcing methods, including online searches, social media platforms, networking events, and industry connections, to identify and attract exceptional candidates.
- Assessing and prescreening external candidates for job openings, aiming to identify applicants who thoroughly match the posted requisites, and subsequently directing them to the hiring manager for further consideration.
- In charge of coordinating interviews, collaborating with the security team for background checks, and overseeing the start and completion of the candidate's project.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to comprehend exact job criteria, ensuring candidate profiles align seamlessly.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and ensure alignment in candidate profiles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a GED or high school diploma with at least 1-3 years of Recruiting experience.
- Must be able to go onsite 3x time a week to Sterling, VA.
- Must have experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or other recruitment software (preferably BullHorn).
- Must have experience sourcing qualified candidates using various sourcing methods.
- Must have excellent computer literacy skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask.
- Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors in B.A., or a related field is preferred.
- Have at least 1+ years of staffing industry experience with light industrial or clerical staffing.
