Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Showroom Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for kitchen and interior design, coupled with strong customer service skills. As a Showroom Consultant, you will be the trusted resource to the client, recommending solutions while providing the highest level of service, integrity and professionalism. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding customers through the selection process and ensuring their vision comes to life.
As a UCS Kitchen Design brand ambassador, Showroom Consultant showcases ability to provide a customer-centric approach, with a passion for good design.
Duties
- Market our brand and products to walk-in clients, and client leads provided by the company.
- Opening and closing of the showroom.
- Develop and maintain productive business relationships with your assigned clients.
- Utilize social media, networking and other avenues to develop and grow client relationships
- Effectively and confidently pitch the UCS Kitchen Design’s line of products
- Manage phases of client projects including initial meetings, product specification and selection, following up to maintain relationships
- Provide weekly updates to your manager: pipeline and project status
- Manage and track all client marketing activities through use of our CRM system
- Provide superior client experience to enhance long-term relationships, brand loyalty, and market share
- Actively identify and develop new business and relationships
- Actively participate in industry and showroom events; i.e. networking events, CEU presentations, lunch and learns, etc.
- Other projects and activities as needed to drive sales and/or grow market share

Requirements
- Experience in the high-end, luxury brand environment
- Exceptional communications skills, both verbal and written
- Digitally savvy
- Ability to listen and translate client’s needs into design ideas
- Strong persuasion, negotiation skills and the ability to influence others
- Self -motivated and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Passion
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; CRM and other sales tracking tools
- Knowledge of design software prefered
- Licensed to drive preferred.
UCS Kitchen Design may require physical requirements within its Showroom locations as follows:
- The ability to lift and move small to medium-sized items weighing up to 25 lbs., using proper equipment and techniques.
- The ability to navigate the showroom floor, stock room, and office space efficiently.
