Position Summary
As a Bartender at Dominion, you are central to the guest experience. You create a friendly, engaging, and memorable atmosphere, whether serving guests at the bar or supporting the dining room. Ideal candidates are personable, professional, knowledgeable about food and beverage, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
We are also seeking a Lead Bartender: a senior-level role for an experienced professional who can take ownership of the bar program, mentor the team, and drive beverage creativity.
Key Responsibilities (All Bartenders)
- Greet and engage guests with warmth and enthusiasm
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, and beer with precision and consistency
- Guide guests through the menu with thoughtful food and beverage recommendations
- Accurately take and execute orders while coordinating with the kitchen and service team
- Ensure drinks are presented properly and delivered in a timely manner
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues with professionalism
- Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking levels
- Uphold Dominion’s service standards and guest experience expectations
- Participate in ongoing food and beverage training
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive, team-driven environment
Additional Responsibilities (Lead Bartender)
- Develop and update seasonal cocktail menus
- Curate the bar program in alignment with Dominion’s concept and standards
- Train and mentor bartenders and service staff on cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Ensure consistency in drink quality, presentation, and execution across all shifts
- Assist with ordering, inventory management, and cost control
- Collaborate with management on menu development and special programming
Qualifications
- 1+ year of bartending experience in a full-service or upscale casual restaurant preferred
- (Lead Bartender) 3+ years bartending experience with demonstrated leadership or bar program involvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beer (advanced knowledge for Lead role)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age
