What this role actually is
This is a hands-on working manager position, not a traditional management-only role.
This role is primarily a bartending position with added responsibility.
Managers bartend full shifts while leading the team. You are on the floor, in the action, setting the tone, and running the shift.
What you’ll be doing
- Opening and closing the pub
- Leading the shift while bartending
- Overseeing atmosphere: music, lighting, temperature, TVs
- Supervising bar staff, kitchen staff, and door staff
- Handling customer issues and maintaining service standards
- Tracking sales and payroll
- Managing inventory and placing orders
- Addressing maintenance or operational issues during shifts
What we offer
