Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend menu items or drinks accordingly.
- Operate POS systems such as Toast for order processing, cash handling, and billing accurately.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently by practicing excellent time management skills to minimize wait times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling regulations.
- Restock supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform retail math calculations, and balance registers at the end of each shift.
- Support catering events, banquets, or private parties by serving food and beverages seamlessly in a fast-paced environment.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by actively listening to guest needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that promotes sales and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet service or food industry settings; retail math skills are essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours without compromising service quality.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for billing, tips, and inventory management.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest experiences.
- Experience in serving at catering events or banquet settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of brewing processes or hospitality industry standards is a plus.
