The Ideal Candidate:
-Has catering experience demonstrating strong leadership skills, supervisory experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and sales team.
-Oversee all kitchen operations to ensure a high standard of quality and consistency for all menu items.
-Manage food cost, labor cost, and waste management including sourcing new vendors and products as needed.
-Assist with operational logistics, receiving, and staff hiring/scheduling.
-Maintain cleaning systems in the BOH and demonstrate clean work habits and time management.
-Maintain a strong work ethic while building and maintain team morale.
-Manage multiple priorities.
-Professional communication and computer skills.
-Ability to prioritize tasks and have the flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as they arise.
Qualifications & Experience:
-3 to 5 years professional commercial kitchen experience.
-culinary degree preferred but not required.
-Department of Health Certification.
-Strong inventory management and communication skills required.
-Ability to manage and motivate kitchen team members.
-Experience ordering and cultivating relationships with purveyors.
Schedule:
Monday thru Friday.
