D. Working with the team on making sure items stayed stocked for the customer
II.
A. Prepare food according to predetermined recipes and prep sheets
B. Assist with writing and utilizing the production list
C. As directed by the Deli Manager, lead the front counter team and set daily priorities with the team
D. Monitor production levels and usage in order to minimize out of stocks and shrink
E. Ensure all prepared foods are labeled and stored properly
F. Maintain clean, attractive, organized, fronted and full deli cases at all times
G. Maintain procedures and follow written SOP’s for all deli items
H. Detect and ensure spoiled or unattractive food is being pulled
I. Ensure proper storage and labeling procedures as per health department standards
J. Accurately record shrink, transfers, and productions levels
K. Assist with on-the-job training with new counter team members
L. Report performance issues or training needs to the Deli Manager
M. Perform other duties as assigned by Deli Manager

Physical Requirements
a. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
b. Ability to stand for long periods, bend and twist repeatedly, lift product overhead, and/or to climb ladders with product.
c. Ability to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, or crouch
d. Must be comfortable with working in different climate zones. Kitchen, Walk in Coolers and Freezer.
