Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding customer service in a quick service and fast food restaurant environment
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Manage POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Monitor inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
- Train new team members on food service procedures, POS operation, and customer interaction standards
- Handle shift management by resolving operational issues promptly and maintaining smooth workflow during peak hours
- Support kitchen management with food production oversight, ensuring quality consistency across all menu items
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a quick service or casual dining restaurant setting with a focus on food preparation and customer service
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS for efficient transaction processing
- Experience with inventory control, food safety protocols, and food handling best practices in the food industry
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams, training staff, and fostering a positive work environment
- Background in restaurant management or hospitality management with exposure to kitchen operations and food production processes
- Familiarity with budgeting, shift management, and staff interviewing techniques within a restaurant context
