Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar area that adheres to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for quick transactions, cash handling, and sales processing.
- Monitor guest behavior responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and promoting a safe environment.
- Restock bar supplies promptly, track inventory levels, and communicate needs to management proactively.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service smoothly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong cash handling skills are essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and authentically.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service laws.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions and retail math calculations.
