Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to lead our dynamic food service team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and efficient workflow
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives
- Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality, safety, and presentation standards
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Toast POS systems and reconcile daily cash drawers
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant
- Assist with hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new team members to build a strong workforce
- Monitor customer service quality, address guest concerns promptly, and promote a welcoming atmosphere
- Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and delivery during busy periods
- Support budgeting efforts by controlling labor costs and optimizing operational efficiency
- Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Experience
- Proven supervising or management experience within the food industry, ideally in quick service & fast food or casual dining settings
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with Toast POS for order processing and cash handling
- Experience in inventory control, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training & development as well as team management
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including shift management, customer service excellence, and food production workflows
- Prior experience working in hospitality management environments such as hotels or banquet facilities is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of service excellence
