Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in accordance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Follow proper food handling procedures during preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure safety and quality
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors or toppings based on customer preferences and current trends
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
- Support the team during busy periods by providing excellent food service and ensuring timely delivery of orders
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or culinary settings
- Experience with menu planning and meal preparation in fine dining or casual restaurant environments
- Skilled in knife techniques, food safety practices, and general kitchen operations
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to catering, serving, and food service operations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for culinary arts with a focus on pizza making or similar cuisine
