Job Summary
About Field & Main
Field & Main is located in the historic town of Marshall, Virginia just an hour west of Washington, DC, set among horse country and a vibrant community of farmers, artisans, and producers who supply much of our menu. The location of this restaurant is intentional, rooted in a deep connection to place and people.
Housed in a charming 200-year-old building originally built as a tavern, the space was designed for hospitality from the beginning. Today, each member of the Field & Main team honors this history through their own practice of thoughtful, genuine service.
Our team is grounded in strong communication, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to offering an exceptional experience each shift - for guests and one another.
Since opening in 2016, Field & Main has developed a strong reputation for high-quality, locally sourced, seasonally driven cuisine with global inspiration. We have been featured in The Washington Post Dining Guide, Northern Virginia Magazine, Washingtonian, and Wine Spectator, and were recently named a finalist for a James Beard Award for our wine and beverage program.
Our mission is simple and intentional: To cultivate connection through hospitality.
