Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly as a HOST/HOSTESS, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills
- Prepare and serve drinks as a BARTENDER, creating classic cocktails and specialty beverages while maintaining cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards
- Deliver food orders swiftly and accurately as a FOODRUNNER, ensuring dishes meet quality standards before reaching guests’ tables
- Assist servers during busy periods by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting food service operations to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring cleanliness in all service areas
- Upsell menu items and promote specials using OpenTable or other sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles such as server, bartender, host/hostess, or foodrunner is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Experience with culinary preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn about food presentation and handling is appreciated
