Want to make a difference? Come be a part of the amazing work EveryMind is accomplishing!
EveryMind is not just a name; it’s a catalyst for change. We believe in the inherent value and potential of every individual, every mind. With a commitment to the building blocks of mental health, we have been strengthening communities and empowering individuals since 1957. Through our direct services, advocacy, and community partnerships, we foster an ecosystem of support that cultivates thriving communities.
EveryMind is hiring a Therapeutic Mentor to join our Project Wellness team in the School-Based Services department. The Therapeutic Mentor offers structured one-to-one strength-based support services to children and teens to address daily social-emotional needs. This includes supporting, coaching, and training children and youth in age-appropriate behaviors including interpersonal communication, problem-solving, social engagement, self-esteem, conflict resolution, and relating appropriately with youth and adults. The therapeutic mentor develops a behavioral health treatment plan with the family and youth where possible. This plan helps to ensure the youth’s success in navigating various social situations, learning new skills, and making functional progress while the therapeutic mentor offers supervision of interactions and engages the youth in discussions about strategies for their effective use.
