As a TBS Aid staff are responsible for providing therapeutic behavioral interventions and replacement skill-building strategies for consumers. TBS Aid will partner with the child, family and therapeutic team to achieve and maintain the goals as defined in the treatment plan as well as the responsibility for the submission of daily progress notes and other required documentation. Staff are to meet the hours of the provided weekly schedule.

Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic behavioral interventions and replacement skill-building strategies to consumers
- Work with consumers and families to achieve and maintain goals as defined in the TBS treatment plan
- Provide one-on-one behavior intervention for consumers based on the consumer’s treatment plan
- Document consumer services in accordance with state and agency standards.
- Coordinate linkage to appropriate intra-agency and community.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure quality consumer
- Conduct visits to homes and or other service providers in order to help the consumer achieve their service plan
- Provide systems-oriented interventions to develop parenting skills for the consumer’s support system
- Ensure accuracy in work and that all deadline expectations are met
- Interface with the Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Mental Health, court systems, schools, law enforcement, health care providers, and other community agencies
- Ensure active participation in administrative and clinical supervision
- Follow up with Supervisor in a timely manner regarding significant
- Demonstrate ownership of work responsibilities by adhering to program policies
Required education:
Minimum of a high school diploma with 4 years of experience working with mentally & emotionally disturbed youth & adults
OR
Bachelor, Masters's degree (Human Service, Social Work, Psychology) with at least 30 hours, or their equivalent, of college credit towards a bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
Basic Requirements:
- 1 year of work experience mental health setting implementing the rehabilitation activities outlined in the consumer's treatment plan.
- Full background check: staff must pass a full state & federal criminal background check.
- Transportation: Staff must possess a valid driver's license & maintain a clean driving record. The position requires the use of a personal vehicle.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- This is a 1-on-1 position with consumers & families
- Conducting home visits, (Management of symptoms (when applicable))
- Advocating for families alongside clinical team
- Submission of daily session notes post every 48 hours
- Attend all staff meetings & trainings
- Staff will create recreational projects for youths & families to assist them with self-care skills, hygiene, nutrition, & self-administration of medications (when applicable)

Pay: $1,300.00 - $1,685.00 per month
