Warehouse Team Leader

ROI Construction is a rapidly growing construction and home improvement company seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations and support efficient material flow for installation projects. This role is responsible for guiding warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials are properly prepared and available for field teams.
You will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager, project coordinators, and field leadership to ensure warehouse operations remain organized, efficient, and aligned with project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Oversight
- Supervise and support warehouse staff to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Provide guidance, direction, and accountability to maintain productivity and adherence to processes.
- Assist with training new team members on warehouse procedures and systems.
Inventory Management & Accuracy
- Oversee inventory tracking and reconciliation to ensure accuracy across all materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged goods.
- Ensure proper documentation of material movement within the system.
Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate staging and preparation of materials for upcoming installations.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Ensure all materials are properly labeled, stored, and ready for dispatch.
Receiving, Shipping & Returns
- Oversee receiving and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Verify documentation and system updates for all inbound and outbound materials.
- Support vendor return processes (RMA) as needed.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Project Coordinators, and Field Teams to align material needs.
- Communicate material availability and support project scheduling requirements.
- Help ensure smooth coordination between warehouse operations and field execution.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with construction or solar materials is a plus.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer proficiency required; experience with inventory or ERP systems preferred.
- Reliable transportation
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods.
